During some periods of boredom waiting for my next fishing trip, I had a eureka moment. Instead of dressing the treble hooks of my jigs and lures with feathers, why not dress them with spinner blades. Spinner blades have been used and proven quite effective in freshwater fishing applications. The flash and vibration it creates is like a dinner bell to fish. Why not for saltwater? There are several ways to rig it. You can rig it so the blade would spin or just flutter. So with some spinner blades and wires, my goal is to rig the treble hooks of my jigs and lures and test it on my next fishing trip.
